Crown Charity Trust, a prominent NGO based in Nigeria, recently made a humanitarian visit to Iwo Land, Osun State, as part of its ongoing commitment to education and community development. The visit was led by the newly appointed General Manager, Adeyemi Badewa, alongside Secretary General Babatunde Azeez and other team members. They visited students enrolled in a summer lesson program organized by the Federation of Iwo Land Student Union.
The purpose of the visit was to provide financial assistance to both the students and their coordinators as a token of encouragement to promote academic excellence and motivation. The students warmly welcomed the gesture and expressed their gratitude for the NGO’s generosity. In a remarkable dedication to education, Crown Charity Trust announced plans to sponsor five outstanding students for their West African Examinations (WAEC). Additionally, the NGO pledged to support five students with the best WAEC results through their university education. This initiative is designed to empower bright students and encourage academic achievement in the community.
After the visit with the students, the Crown Charity Trust team was received by His Royal Majesty, the Oluwo of Iwo Land. During the meeting, the team presented a cheque to the monarch for the summer class program, further demonstrating the NGO’s commitment to supporting the local community. The Oluwo praised the Chairman of Crown Charity Trust, Chief Sefiu Adebayo Mufutau, a native of Iwo Land residing in the UK, for his philanthropic contributions and encouraged the team to continue their admirable work. The monarch’s endorsement and blessings serve as a testament to the positive impact Crown Charity Trust is making in the community.
Crown Charity Trust remains dedicated to improving the lives of Nigerians, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and community development. Through its sponsorship program, the NGO is poised to leave a lasting impact on the educational landscape of Iwo Land and beyond.
